SUMMARY:Building a Robust and Resilient Supply Chain through Third-Party Risk Management
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER\n\n\n\n\nJoin us on our webinar “Building a Robust Supply Chain through Third-party Risk Management.” This webinar represents the final step in our series of TPRM focused webinars. \n\n\n\nFailing to conduct due diligence on third-party suppliers poses significant risks to a corporation’s supply chain. Without proper vetting\, companies may unknowingly partner with unreliable or unethical entities\, leading to quality issues\, delivery delays\, or financial losses. Moreover\, inadequate risk assessment increases vulnerability to regulatory violations\, reputational damage\, and even legal consequences. Neglecting third-party due diligence jeopardizes the stability\, efficiency\, and integrity of the entire supply chain\, undermining business resilience and competitiveness. \n\n\n\nEthixbase 360 has years of experience preventing organisations from falling into the pitfalls which can be dangerous for businesses who depend on large value chains.  \n\n\n\nDuring this 45 minute session we will: \n\n\n\n\nExplore the critical role of third-party risk management in fortifying supply chains against disruptions.\n\n\n\nDiscover strategies for vendor selection\, rigorous monitoring\, and proactive risk mitigation.\n\n\n\nGain insights from real-world examples and cutting-edge technologies to navigate the complexities of modern supply chains effectively.\n\n\n\n\nJoin us as we empower organizations to enhance resilience and ensure continuity in today’s dynamic marketplace. \n\n\n\nGRC 20/20 Analyst will be presenting at the event . . . \n\n\n\nMichael Rasmussen\n\n\n\nMichael Rasmussen is an internationally recognized pundit on governance\, risk management\, and compliance (GRC) – with specific expertise on enterprise GRC strategy and processes supported by robust information and technology architectures.  With 30+ years of experience\, Michael helps organizations improve GRC strategy and processes supported by the correct GRC technology architecture. The Ethixbase360 platform was designed to automate the identification of relevant risk indicators\, provide insights from the data collected\, and then create a positive impact for both its clients and their third parties with monitoring and training. SUMMARY:Compliance Countdown: Accelerating Cyber Resilience Initiatives
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER\n\n\n\n\nIn today’s hyper-connected digital landscape\, financial institutions face a heightened risk of cyberattacks. A disruption in the information system of a major player could potentially trigger a destabilization or\, in the worst-case scenario\, the collapse of the global financial system. \n\n\n\nTo avoid such a dire outcome\, regulators worldwide are passing regulations aimed at compelling financial institutions and their technological partners to strengthen their cyber resilience\, such as EU DORA\, the PRA Operational Resilience (UK)\, the OCC Sounds Practice for Cyber Resilience (US)\, the CPS 234 (AU)\, … \n\n\n\nEmbedded within these regulations is the mandate for organizations to identify their critical processes and associated IT assets and vendors\, evaluate the level of IT/cyber risks\, and develop continuity plans. This requires extensive collaboration among various departments (IT\, IT security\, GRC\, Procurement\, Data Office\, Legal\, etc.)\, not always accustomed to working together. \n\n\n\nThis webinar will cover:\n\n\n\n\nThe many regulations impacting the financial industry\, their challenges\, and the compliance requirements associated.\n\n\n\nThe necessary collaboration between IT\, IT Security\, GRC\, Procurement\, Data Office\, Legal etc.\n\n\n\nThe benefits of a shared platform that can connect processes\, IT assets\, risks and data.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGRC 20/20 Presenter . . SUMMARY:Internal Control Management by Design\, LONDON
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER\n\n\n\n\nWorkshop Summary \n\n\n\nInternal control management has become a critical foundation for corporate governance\, risk management\, and compliance (GRC). Operationally effective controls are the linchpin that ensures the organisation can reliably achieve objectives while addressing uncertainty and acting with integrity. Controls are critical throughout business strategies\, operations\, and processes. Reactive and a stovepipe approach to internal controls management leave the organisation not seeing the big picture of how controls interrelate with each other\, risks\, and compliance obligations.  In the UK\, following the consultation on Restoring Trust in Audit and Corporate Governance\, last year\, the UK Government invited the Financial Reporting Council (FRC) to strengthen the UK Corporate Governance Code (UKCGC) in specific areas.  One of the updated and strengthened sections of the UKCGC\, to be released in January 2024\, is that on internal controls.  Boards will be required to provide a declaration\, with explanation\, on whether it can reasonably conclude that the organisation’s risk management and internal control systems have been effective for the period being reported.    \n\n\n\nOrganisations need a blueprint for effective\, efficient\, and agile internal control management as business becomes increasingly complex in a changing business and risk environment – that struggles with growing regulations\, globalisation\, and distributed operations. This requires organisations to design internal management as an integrated part of strategy and operations supported by an integrated internal control information architecture that gives organisations a 360° situational awareness of internal controls in business strategy and operations. \n\n\n\nThis workshop gives participants a blueprint for effective internal control management strategies in a dynamic business and risk environment. We’ll delve into integrating internal control management seamlessly into your governance\, risk management\, and compliance – GRC – processes and operations\, ensuring a cohesive approach. You’ll explore diverse internal control management architecture models tailored to your organisation’s unique needs\, enabling you to reliably achieve objectives\, address uncertainty/risk\, and act with integrity. Discover a range of internal control assessment and monitoring techniques to safeguard your business effectively. We’ll guide you in developing a structured internal control management information and technology architecture that aligns seamlessly with your business operations\, enhancing efficiency\, effectiveness\, resilience\, and agility. Join us to empower your business with comprehensive\, strategic internal control management skills.  \n\n\n\nAgenda  \n\n\n\n\nInternal Control Drivers & Trends Impacting Organisations \n\n\n\nInternal Control Management Strategy \n\n\n\nInternal Control Management Processes \n\n\n\nInternal Control Management Information\, Technology & Automation \n\n\n\n\nWorkshop Objectives \n\n\n\nThe objective of this workshop is to leave attendees with the ability to effectively manage internal controls in the context of governance\, risk management\, and compliance to enable the organisation to reliably achieve objectives\, address uncertainty\, and act with integrity. DESCRIPTION:REGISTER\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nGRC is a strategic framework that helps mitigate the impacts of regulatory non-compliance by defining and managing the intersection of organizational governance\, risk\, and compliance. And that includes EHS and sustainability requirements — which may result in steep legal\, financial\, and market impacts when they’re not met.  \n\n\n\nTo avoid the potential business impacts of non-compliance\, companies must coordinate at the leadership and governance levels to ensure no risks slip through the cracks.  \n\n\n\nBut when the requisite information is scattered across disconnected sources\, teams\, and technologies\, it’s imperative to centrally manage EHS and sustainability compliance to reduce organizational risks and build a strong GRC program. This is where Enhesa’s solutions can have a positive impact on any GRC program.   \n\n\n\nOn 28 May at 13:00 UTC\, Enhesa will bring together Michael Rasmussen of analyst firm GRC2020\, and Paul Cadwallader of GRC solution provider CoreStream\, for a roundtable discussion of the critical role EHS and sustainability solutions have in supporting GRC initiatives for leading companies worldwide.   \n\n\n\n\nExplore how better EHS and sustainability compliance management can enhance GRC with guest speakers Michael Rasmussen and Paul Cadwallader \n\n\n\nLearn how the GRC framework helps companies consolidate disparate data streams to mitigate organizational risk \n\n\n\nGet insight into how managing EHS\, sustainability\, and GRC together with a centralized program promotes a more agile business \n\n\n\nSee the benefit of technology platforms designed to support existing processes and efficient decision-making \n\n\n\n\nTo avoid the potential business impacts of non-compliance companies must coordinate at the levels of leadership and governance\, ensuring no risks slip through the cracks. \n\n\n\nDon’t miss the discussion \n\n\n\nJoin us for this compelling conversation between experts in the world of EHS\, sustainability\, and GRC to find out how a combined view of these three topics can enhance compliance efficiency and effectiveness.  \n\n\n\nIn this discussion-style webinar\, learn how:   \n\n\n\n\nGRC helps companies bring together disparate data streams to mitigate organizational risk \n\n\n\nTechnology platforms can support existing processes for more efficient decision-making \n\n\n\nCentralized\, transparent EHS and sustainability content can improve compliance management \n\n\n\nManaging GRC\, EHS\, and sustainability together can promote a more agile business \n\n\n\nMonitoring and adapting to compliance requirements proactively promotes organizational resilience \n\n\n\n\nBook your place now! \n\n\n\nSpeakers\n\n\n\n\nMichael Rasmussen is the lead analyst and founder of GRC 20/20 Research\, a firm providing insight into governance\, risk management\, and compliance (GRC) solutions and strategies for global businesses. \n\n\n\nPaul Cadwallader is SVP Client Solutions and Success at GRC solution provider CoreStream\, which provides organizations with technology to manage governance\, risk\, and compliance\, including assurance activities. \n\n\n\nMary Foley\, Expert Services Strategy Director with Enhesa\, has over 25 years’ experience in strategy and risk management\, covering consulting\, certification\, and assurance\, and is currently a Forbes contributor. \n\n\n\n\nGRC 20/20 Presenter . . SUMMARY:IT Risk/GRC Management by Design\, LONDON
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER\n\n\n\n\nOrganizations are complex: from technological advancements to regulatory changes and global expansions\, ensuring robust information security is a daunting task for any GRC professional. \n\n\n\nIn this workshop with renowned GRC pundit Michael Rasmussen\, you’ll get the blueprint you need to achieve an effective IT risk management strategy in a dynamic business and risk environment. You’ll learn strategies and techniques to apply to your whole organization and as part of your broader GRC strategy. \n\n\n\nHere’s what you can expect to gain:\n\n\n\n\nA comprehensive understanding of IT GRC within the broader context of business performance and strategy.\n\n\n\nKnowledge of how to integrate IT GRC management processes seamlessly into your organization’s operations.\n\n\n\nThe ability to define an information architecture that provides 360° situational awareness of IT GRC in alignment with business objectives.\n\n\n\nA deep dive into the technology components necessary to streamline risk and compliance management across your organization.\n\n\n\n\nWho should come along?\n\n\n\n\nIT GRC managers and officers\n\n\n\nBusiness managers who want to up their game in IT GRC\n\n\n\nExecutives and governance personnel overseeing IT GRC\n\n\n\nAudit personnel providing assurance on IT security and GRC\n\n\n\n\nWorkshop Abstract:\n\n\n\nOrganizations are complex. Exponential growth and change in technology\, vulnerabilities\, regulations\, globalization\, distributed operations\, changing processes\, competitive velocity\, business relationships\, legacy technology\, and business data expose organizations of all sizes. Keeping this complexity and change in sync is a significant challenge for information security professionals. Executives constantly react to risk appearing around them and fail to actively manage and understand the interrelationship of risk across the organization\, particularly information security risk\, as it permeates business operations\, processes\, transactions\, and relationships in the digital world. Risk Management maturity increases as the ability to connect\, understand\, analyze\, and monitor interrelationships and underlying patterns of performance\, risk\, compliance across the business grows. \n\n\n\nOrganizations require complete situational and holistic awareness of information risk management across operations\, processes\, relationships\, systems\, transactions\, and data to see the big picture of risk and its impact on performance and strategy. Risk management fails when risk issues are addressed as a system of parts that do not integrate and work as a collective whole. Information security cannot be managed in isolation. Decentralized\, disconnected\, and distributed processes of the past catch the organization off guard to information risk and expose the organization. The interconnectedness of information and technology underpinning all aspects of an organization’s operations requires the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to be a foundational and integrated approach to risk management across the organization. Understanding and managing risk in today’s environment requires a new paradigm in managing the interconnections and relationships of risk\, particularly information risk. CISOs need to stay on top of their game by monitoring information security risk to their organization both internally (e.g.\, operations\, processes\, systems\, data) and externally (e.g.\, threat\, competitive\, legal\, geographic environments) to stay competitive in today’s economy. \n\n\n\nOrganizations must understand information security risk and make risk-informed business decisions to manage effectively manage risk across the enterprise. This workshop provides a blueprint for attendees on effective IT GRC management strategies in a dynamic business and risk environment. Attendees will learn IT GRC management strategies and techniques that can be applied across the organization and as part of broader GRC strategies. Learning is done through lectures\, collaboration with peers\, and workshop tasks. \n\n\n\nObjectives of the workshop:\n\n\n\nAttendees will take back to their organization’s approaches to address: \n\n\n\n\nIT GRC Management Strategy. Understand IT GRC in the context of business performance\, strategy\, objectives\, culture\, and values.\n\n\n\nIT GRC Management Processes. The IT GRC management processes integrated into the organization and its operations flow from the strategy. Good IT GRC management is done in the rhythm of the business.\n\n\n\nIT GRC Management Information Architecture. Defining an information architecture that enables IT GRC management strategy and processes by providing 360° situational awareness of IT GRC in the context of business strategy and operations\n\n\n\nIT GRC Management Technology Architecture. The necessary technology components are needed to integrate diverse and distributed risk and compliance management roles and IT GRC management into the organization’s operations.\n\n\n\n\nBenefits to attendees:\n\n\n\n\nHolistic awareness of risk. There is defined risk taxonomy across the enterprise that structures and catalogs risk in the context of the organization and assigns accountability. A consistent process identifies risk and keeps the taxonomy current. Various risk frameworks are harmonized into an enterprise risk framework.\n\n\n\nRisk-intelligent decision-making. The organization has what it needs to make risk-intelligent business decisions. Risk strategy is integrated with organization strategy; it is an integral part of business responsibilities. Risk assessment is done in the context of business change and strategic planning\, and structured to complement the business lifecycle to help executives make effective decisions.\n\n\n\nAccountability of risk. Accountability and risk ownership are established features of risk management. Every risk\, at the enterprise and business-process level\, has clearly established owners. Risk is communicated to stakeholders\, and the organization’s track record should illustrate successful risk tolerance and management.\n\n\n\nMultidimensional risk analysis and planning. The organization has a range of risk analytics\, correlation and scenario analysis. Various qualitative and quantitative risk analysis techniques are in place and the organization has an understanding of historical loss to feed into analysis. Risk treatment plans — whether acceptance\, avoidance\, mitigation or transfer — are working and monitored for progress.\n\n\n\nVisibility of risk as it relates to performance and strategy. SUMMARY:IT/Cyber Risk & Resilience Management by Design\, NEW YORK
Risk Management maturity increases as the ability to connect\, understand\, analyze\, and monitor interrelationships and underlying patterns of performance\, risk\, and compliance across the business grows. This workshop provides a blueprint for attendees on effective IT risk management strategies in a dynamic business and risk environment. Attendees will learn IT risk management strategies and techniques that can be applied across the organization and as part of broader GRC strategies. Learning is done through lectures\, collaboration with peers\, and workshop tasks. \n\n\n\nObjectives of the workshop:\n\n\n\nAttendees will take back to their organization’s approaches to address: \n\n\n\n\nIT Risk Management Strategy. Understand IT risk in the context of business performance\, strategy\, objectives\, culture\, and values.\n\n\n\nIT Risk Management Processes. The IT risk management processes integrated into the organization and its operations flow from the strategy. Good IT risk management is done in the rhythm of the business.\n\n\n\nIT Risk Management Information Architecture. Defining an information architecture that enables IT risk management strategy and processes by providing 360° situational awareness of IT risk in the context of business strategy and operations\n\n\n\nIT Risk Management Technology Architecture. The necessary technology components are needed to integrate diverse and distributed risk and compliance management roles and IT risk management into the organization’s operations.\n\n\n\n\nBenefits to attendees:\n\n\n\n\nHolistic awareness of risk. The enterprise views and categorizes risk in the context of organization objectives\, performance and strategy. KRIs are implemented and mapped to key performance indicators (KPIs). Risk indicators are assigned established thresholds and trigger reporting that is relevant to the business and effectively communicated. Risk information adheres to information quality\, integrity\, relevance and timeliness.\n\n\n\n\nWho should attend?\n\n\n\n\nIT risk managers and officers responsible for leading and managing IT risk and information security\n\n\n\nBusiness managers whose job responsibilities include IT risk responsibilities\n\n\n\nExecutives and governance personnel who have to oversea and govern IT risk\n\n\n\nAudit personnel that provide assurance on IT security and GRC\n\n\n\n\nTypical Agenda:\n\n\n\nPart 1: What is IT Risk Management?\n\n\n\nUNDERSTANDING IT RISK IN THE CONTEXT OF THE ORGANIZATION\n\n\n\n\nDifferent views of IT risk and information security throughout the organization\n\n\n\nWho owns IT risk?\n\n\n\nUnderstanding IT risk and its role in assurance to business strategy\, objectives\, performances\, and operations\n\n\n\nWorkshop Project & Discussion\n\n\n\n\nPart 2: IT Risk Management\n\n\n\nBLUEPRINT FOR IT RISK MANAGEMENT COLLABORATION AND STRATEGY\n\n\n\n\nDeveloping an IT risk committee (or herding cats)\, bringing together the range of GRC roles with a stake in IT risk across the organization\n\n\n\nDefining an IT risk management charter\n\n\n\nDeveloping a collaborative and enterprise view of IT risk and how it relates to performance\, risk\, and compliance\n\n\n\nWorkshop Project & Discussion\n\n\n\n\nPart 3: IT Risk Management Process Lifecycle\n\n\n\nINTEGRATED PROCESSES TO IDENTIFY\, ANALYZE\, MANAGE\, AND PROVIDE ASSURANCE ON IT RISK\n\n\n\n\nIdentification – Collaborative process to identify IT risks and controls from both the bottom and the top\n\n\n\nAnalysis – Defining effective and operational controls to provide assurance while mitigating risk\n\n\n\nManagement – Strategies to manage IT risk and controls in context of performance\, risk\, and compliance\n\n\n\nCommunication – Assign and manage IT risk ownership and accountability\n\n\n\nWorkshop Project & Discussion\n\n\n\n\nPart 4: IT Risk Management Information & Technology Architecture\n\n\n\nPROVIDING AN INTEGRATED VIEW OF IT RISK TO THE ENTERPRISE\n\n\n\n\nDeveloping an IT risk taxonomy and attributes of risks and controls\n\n\n\nMapping IT risk to objectives\, risk\, policy\, and compliance\n\n\n\nMonitoring IT risk in a changing environment\n\n\n\nTechnology capabilities and considerations to support IT risk management\n\n\n\nWorkshop Project & Discussion\n\n\n\n\nGRC 20/20 Analyst will be facilitating this workshop . . .\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMichael Rasmussen is an internationally recognized pundit on governance\, risk management\, and compliance (GRC) – with specific expertise on enterprise GRC strategy and processes supported by robust information and technology architectures.  With 30+ years of experience\, Michael helps organizations improve GRC strategy and processes supported by the correct GRC technology architecture. SUMMARY:Security & Audit 2024\, Denmark
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER\n\n\n\n\nAI\, OT\, NIS2 and many other abbreviations find their way into everyday life – which ones should we pay special attention to\, and which ones can we really equate with someone we already know? Get some of the answers at this year’s conference!Security & Audit 29 and 30 August 2024 \n\n\n\nNew technical terms and solutions flow into our society in a steady stream. Something is said to be landmark and epoch-making\, but is perhaps just ‘old wine in new bottles’\, while others turn out to have much greater influences than we had imagined. Thus\, there can be a tendency for something to be ‘counted up’ while other things are ‘counted down’. \n\n\n\nHere it may be appropriate not to base yourself on suppliers\, media or AI\, but on your own intelligence and common sense in investigating and assessing which will affect the company\, agency\, organization or situation you are in right now. Once these are identified\, the ‘why’\, ‘how’ and ‘when’ they will affect are important to consider for risk assessment and management. Assessment and prioritization of measures for risk reduction and monitoring can then be carried out on an informed basis and preferably taking into account that significant risk reduction can often occur with even relatively small efforts – as long as something is done. It is mostly better to act on a risk than to wait for a 100% solution that is often outdated by the time it is finally implemented. \n\n\n\nIn the process\, it is essential to have someone to spar with\, as well as facts and experiences that can put into perspective the challenges we constantly face in these situations. This is exactly what we in the conference committee see as our task to give you the opportunity. Presentations of what affects our work areas\, based on facts and experiences\, as well as a good\, solid network – both are necessary to be able to assess and prioritize ourselves without being influenced by the many voices that often have a different agenda. These voices must not be ignored\, but we must be prepared to be able to put into perspective and ensure the relevance of the initiatives that our organizations must use resources on. \n\n\n\nThat is why we are once again closely following the more recent measures in the area of regulation; DORA\, NIS2 and ESG\, as well as throw ourselves into an attempt to get a good and thorough understanding of AI and different views and perspectives of it\, as we believe that it is here to stay\, and it is therefore essential to be able to relate to in a professionally based context. \n\n\n\nWe hope to see a lot of people this year – regulars as well as new faces – We look forward to seeing you! \n\n\n\nJoin us for this valuable\, open\, and collaborative session that will give you practical governance\, risk management and control insights to implement in your organisation. \n\n\n\nGRC 20/20 Analyst will be keynoting at the event . . .\n\n\n\nMichael Rasmussen\n\n\n\nMichael Rasmussen is an internationally recognized pundit on governance\, risk management\, and compliance (GRC) – with specific expertise on enterprise GRC strategy and processes supported by robust information and technology architectures.  With 30+ years of experience\, Michael helps organizations improve GRC strategy and processes supported by the correct GRC technology architecture.
